Introducing Updates for Pantheon Supporters

April 25, 2020

Pantheon has been picking up momentum the past few months, and we owe much to the support of our friends. This newsletter is intended to share our progress with people who have been helpful in the past.

The TLDR;

2020 was a rough year, but things have started to improve dramatically in 2021. We have an overwhelming amount of interest from consumers, with a waitlist of over 16,000 people. Customers have been finding us on their own: we have spent no money on ads. We think this is a great signal for the product we’ve developed.

Recent Milestones

Free Small-Team Access

We decided to invest in building a free version of our product for teams of 4 people. This is a work in progress, but adoption has been exciting. In the 3 weeks since launch, we have gotten close to 200 new users (all with no advertising).

Large Team Waitlist at 16,000 people

There are now over 16,000 people represented on our waitlist for larger teams. We recently built the onboarding forms for teams with more than 4 people, and will begin registering them soon.

We plan to work through the waitlist gradually to make sure the user experience is smooth and we receive quality feedback.

Next Steps: Social Networking

We have been getting more interest than we could have expected. There's pent up demand for a product like Pantheon, and users are seeking general social features from us. We think we can succeed where others have failed by building a network that is accessible and empowering. We are building a roadmap for what this will look like for the end of Summer 2021.

How You can help:

Fundraising

Given the inbound customer interest, we need to build faster, so we want to raise our pre-seed round in a few months. If you know of any professional investors or helpful angels who would be interested in what we're building, we'd love a warm intro. We won't formally kick off the process for a couple of months, but we want to begin building connections.

Designer

We're building Pantheon like a video game, and we want to hire an awesome designer who understands gaming. If you know any great designers open to contract work, we would love to meet them. Ideally, this would eventually transition into a full-time job, so we're not looking for agencies.
