If you’re interested in tracking your steps, you don’t need to buy a new pedometer or tracker. Your iPhone is already equipped to track your steps for free. You just need to find the information in Apple’s Health app.

iPhone’s Free Pedometer App, Apple Health
Many people don’t know that their iPhone is a pedometer and is counting their steps for them. The information is tucked away in the Apple Health app, sometimes under a few other health items.
To find your steps.
Open the Apple Health app on your iPhone.

If you don’t see your steps, select the “Browse” Tab, then select “Activity.” Steps will be listed as one of your activities.
