The Running Shoes That Helped Me Run After an Injury

This post is a little more personal. I love running. Whenever I'm stressed, which is often, my mental salve is a quick run. Until I injured myself.

I'm no stranger to injury, but this injury will not give up. Every few weeks, I would get aggressive and go on a run and aggravate it all over again. I realized I had to stop running until I healed.

Without my go-to exercise, I started to feel cooped up, even depressed. So I finally succumbed into the eternal pressure that plagues us all: ads.

Nike delivered an ad for shoes that could help runners run with minor injuries or get a relaxed run in on off-days. I am a sucker for Nike, and I was desperate, so I picked up the Nike React Infinity 2. And for the first time in months, I've been able to run again.

I don't know how they work, but they work.

I don't get paid for product placement, but I love these shoes right now. They aren't my favorite running shoes: they're too thick and spongy for my taste. If you're a speed runner, they will slow you down. But they are my favorite shoes that let me run.

And maybe thats how they work, they keep the beast inside you contained so that it doesn't lead to more injury.

I'm not a doctor, so don't take it as medical advice, but if you're eager to hit the road again, the shoes are worth checking out.
